1.Uninstall the installed driver first.
2.Disconnect Data cable from CPU.
3.Then connect the printer with CPU.
4.Turn on the printer.
5.If the PC detect the printer, install it.otherwise check the data cable or ports are ok or not.
Hi Josh, Try disconnecting the usb connections to the PC. Uninstall the printers software and reboot your computer. Turn off the printer and then on again. Insert the installations disk into your computer.Follow the installation instructions and connect the printer only when prompted by the installation setup to do so.
You will have to select your operating system. On the next page, you should see a + sign beside Driver - Product Installation Software. Click it and select the software to install your printer.

the product page click on "Software and Driver downloads" and then
select your operating system from the next page. Then on the next page

In the installation window, where you are asked to connect the printer, just check mark on connect the printer later or printer is already connected and continue with the installation.
