You can often successfully recover deleted photos from a PC, phone or camera memory card or USB Memory stick, it just depends on what's happened since the files were deleted.
When you delete files the data itself isn't deleted, just the index entry that says where the data for those files is located. The space containing the deleted files is also now marked as free space so it is available to the system for any new files to be written there instead.

If and when that happens, then it becomes too late to recover your deleted files so it is very, very important to not save any new files or data to the device concerned.
If the deleted files are on a memory card or USB memory stick, just don't save any new files to it.

One of the easiest ways to see if you can recover deleted files is to try some file recovery software. Recommended this data recovery as it saved my life many times.

OK! Be relaxed! Don't worry! Nowadays, the deleted files on a camera are not actually destroyed immediately as we think. They still can there and become invisible. So, act carefully to get these deleted photos back:
1. Stop using this camera right now in case that any new file on it may overwrite your deleted files.
2. Insert this phone to your computer.
3. Download a camera data recovery freeware to retrieve all your lost files back.
This professional camera recovery freeware has helped many people around me restore their inaccessible data off from a phone/camera memory card or hard drive. It could be a good choice for you to go on.
Try to read more detailed information of this camera data recovery freeware here:
http://blog4mark.blogspot.com/2012/12/photo-recovery-after-delete.html

4. Do not save or back up all the restored data on the same camera in case of any data loss

Not really. They are gone forever only after they are overwritten by new saved data. It means if you continue to use the camera (take more photos or videos), there might be a chance.

So first of all - Take the memory card(stick) out of your camera and stop putting more files to it.

Secondly - Connect the card or stick to your PC via a card reader (or directly connect the camera via USB cable etc). Make sure the storage media be detected by the computer.

Then - Download Recuva from this blog post and follow the step by step tutorial to perform photo recovery process.

Lastly - Good Luck!

You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.
