The unit will not turn on check there is power is there a reset ?

Do a soft reset first, if the problem still occurs, do a hard reset.

Soft reset (Does not delete GPS Data)

Turn unit OFF
Press and hold the PAGES key
Press and hold the PWR key
Release both buttons when the unit powers up to Full Map Screen

Hard reset (Deletes GPS Data)

Turn unit OFF
Press and hold the ZIN & ZOUT Keys at the same time
Press and hold the PWR key
Release both buttons when the unit powers up to Full Map Screen

The type of my telco router is T5C-24G7. The passord was lost. How can I reset the Password? Thank you.

At the rear of the unit you can see a small opening with the RESET label next to it. Power the unit and press in that hole a nail or something that fits thru there for 5 seconds. Shut the unit down, wait one minute power it up and it's reseted to factory defaults .

Ho to reset D-Link DES-1228P 24-Port Ethernet Switch to factory default setting?

This article teach you how to D-Link router to restore factory settings,di-524 as an example.

Step 1 With the unit on, place a paper clip into the hole on the back on the unit labeled Reset.
Step 2 Hold paper clip down for 10 seconds and release. (Note: Do not repower unit during this procedure.)
Step 3 The unit will reboot on its own. Once the WLAN light stops blinking, the unit is reset.
Resetting the router does not reset the firmware to an earlier version. It will change all settings back to factory defaults.

What do I do when my screen is frozen

According to one user forum: You can reset by inserting a paperclip end into the reset hole (between the Power Toggle and USB port) for about 10 seconds to reboot the device.

The user manual simply said to press the reset button if the unit freezes.

I have a Sharp SPC502 atmoic clock/weather station. No matter what I do I cannot get the outside temp/humidy to show up on the main station. Have tried changing channels, different alignments,...

Try pushing the reset button on the inside of the battery compartment of the remote unit then push the reset button on the back of the main unit (you'll need a paperclip or tooth pick to push the buttons). If that fails I'd start from scratch by removing the batteries from both the remote unit and the main unit then replace the batteries to the remote unit first and push reset, then replace the batteries to the main unit and if necessary push the reset button on the main unit too. Hope this helps.

The image unit can be reset.
This is done by use of a small program that Xerox certified engineers use. The process is really simple and only takes about 30 secs, if you have access to the program ( I do... :) ) It can also be used to reset transfer belt life etc ....

I cannot even tunr on my brand new fresh out of the box street pilot 340? Any ideas?

there is a red button on the side of the unit, hold that and the unit will come on.

Hello I'm not sure if what you want is to reset the clock or format not really sure but the only reset that I know is reset the clock make sure the recorder is on stop press MENU button to display menu, press the FF button UP or the Rewind button Down to select clock and press the enter button the clock display appears.

Press the FF button UP or the Rewind button down to select the year and press Enter

Press the FF button UP or the Rewind button down to select the month, day, hour, minute and second. Then press Enter
