Good morning sir/madam there is a problem in my handset sgh-x160. when i switch on the phone it is asking for sim lock code. please resolve this problem immediately.

PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key. This is a uniqueeight-digit code specific to your SIM card. This is required when the PINnumber to unlock your mobile phone is entered incorrectly 3 times. You are thengiven 10 attempts to enter your PUK code. If an incorrect PUK code is enteredafter the 10th attempt, you will block your SIM card permanently and willrequire a new SIM card from your mobile phone provider.
PUK codes can be obtained through the following ways - The PUK code is in your SIM card documentation Starter Pack.If you do not have this then -Please contact your phone service provider.
Your cell phone service provider can give you the PUK code once you give themyour account details and they have confirmed your identity.

1-Put the non T-Mobile SIM card in the phone.
2- Turn on the phone, "wrong sim" should appear on the screen.
3-Dial *2767*3855# and wait.The phone will reboot,and the non T-Mobile SIM card in the phone will work,but this is only a temporary unlock step
4-Dial *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#.The phone will say it is personalized.
5-Dial #7465625*638*00000000# .The phone is now unlocked permanently.
6-Dial *#7465625# to check the lock status.

Dear Sir, Good Morning, I have small problem in my aircel sim, It is asking a PUK code, and my Telephone No.9710899389, it is in the name of R.Basker
If u enter the PIN code incorrectly more than two times it will be locked and ask for PUK code. Just note your 16 digit number behind your SIM. With that number you can call costumer care and receive the PUK code by telling the 16 digit number. Thanks, Kesav

Put a non-accepted SIM Card and turn it on. Type *#9998*3323#. Press Exit. You will get a new menu. Select Malloc Fail.
