Thank you for choosing FixYa! Regarding your concern for a media player download, I advise to get the VLC media plyer instead. Why? Because VLC has the most codecs a media player could offer to play all types of audio and video formats. Follow the instructions below.

Click on the link http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html
Click on "Installer Pack"
On the next page, wait for the download prompt to come up and click on Run (for Internet Explorer Browser) or Save file (for Mozilla Firefox Browser).
Wait for the download to complete and play any audio or video file.

There are cases where a media player displays distorted videos. That is because of missing codecs. With VLC you have nothing to worry about. I am using this, so as a technician I highly recommend you to try it. Thank you for choosing FixYa! Enjoy!

Look for the Video Lan download from site www.videolan.org/vlc Downloadand install it. It downloads and installs in 3 minutes or so. It'sa very fast player, smooth and it can play just about any type of dvd formatsand media. It's totally FREE.

Good day, i bought a laptop in japan w/ japan os then i formatted change to windows xp english ver. my problem are th drivers of network adapter, ethernet, video contoller, video controller vga compatible....

You may download all the Drivers and pre-installed Software for the Notebook from the Toshiba Support webpage.
