Hello this is when you used the On/Off button to connect to the PC, normally when your m5210 is on the off position than you plug the unit to the docking station or USB cable, press the ON/OFF button to see on the display PC operation, the unit will be connected to your PC, to download your audio files when you are using walkabout Transfer software program on your PC.
Can't you simply take the tape from the 2750 and put it into the other Dictaphone to play it? Or is the other Dictaphone a different size tape (eg; mini or micro)?
You'll need a digital recorder (Dictaphone makes one - a Walkabout Model 5220). Transferring a recording from an analog (tape) machine to a PC requires a patch cord to hook it up to your PC, then some sort of software to record it while it's playing back.
Press the 'PROGM' key, and enter in the security code (if required), then press the 'KEYS' button. Then choose which button you want as your disconnect button and enter '5', then press the 'Select' key to store it and then press the 'Stop' button to exit key programming mode.
