Message indicator keeps flashing when I have no messages

are you sure!
you are missing something!!!..........................make sure that you have enough memory on the phone(some phone do share the memory with phone book,message,and vertually everything in the phone programmes)....
even when you browse on the phone memory is used up for saved pages,cach,cookies and others(clear all this field)

clear all phone numbers on the phone that you do not need: but then keep a written log of all numbers too.

for the message part too clear all outgoing,report,templates(those you do not need),sent or draft folders cause this also take up space.

when you are through switch the phone off and put it on again.
this should solve the problem.

from operators dss hit mw key then the ext you are trying to clear

Slide the Nortel Grey Bar above the Hold & Rls buttons to reveal the setup button.

1. Hit that button to show *Options List / # Setup list
2. Press * to go into options.
3. Use the arrow buttons or hit 3 to go into CLEAR MESSAGE WAITING
4. Then hit 3 again to clear the message waiting
