All data will be erased on your hard drive if you proceed. Make sure that the power wont be interrupted during this process. Do not switch off or restart your computer either.

-Shut the computer down completely
-hold the 0 (zero) key down and at the same time press the power on button release the power when the machine turns on
-when the computer starts beeping release the 0 key
-when the prompt comes up choose YES to continue with system recovery
-Select recover of factory default software and click NEXT
-Click Next again to start recovery

Hi there!

Make sure that the computer is turned off completely before you start.

First, press and hold the zero key and at the same time, tap the power button once to switch on your computer. When you hear beeping noise coming from the machine, you can release the zero key.

Next, Select yes to contine with the system recovery.

Next, Select Recovery of Factory Default Software; click Next. Select Recover to out-of-box state. Click next again. Then click Next to Start recovery.

Hope this helps!

First restart your Toshiba laptop. Press either "F1," "0," or "F8" to be taken to your computer's hard drive utility screen. The key command differs depending on the model Toshiba computer that you own.

Select "Restore Original Factory Image" from the list of options in System Recovery. Verify that you want to continue the process by clicking "Yes," then click "Next".

I have sony DSC-W190,i want correct menu setting ,bcos if i take a picture its not clear,i think may be menu setting changed, idnt any idea about menu setting pls help.....

Hi,

If the Menu settings in the camera is changed, then I suggest you to reset the Camera back to factory default. Initializing the Camera back to factory default will set all the settings in the Camera back to factory default.
To initialize the Camera back to factory default, select the INITIALIZE Option from the Main Settings 1 Menu of the Camera to OK.This will set the user defined settings back to factory default. The images and videos will not get deleted.
You can also try a manual reset;

Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.

The blurry image capturing can also adjusted by changing the ISO Settings or the Scene Selection modes.

If i revert back to my factory settings on my netopia router will this impact my at&t settings? I'm just trying to let someone use our wireless access and have misplaced the login info

Hi,

Restoring the router to factory default will have impact on AT&T settings provided if you not made note of the setting details. However its adviced to call up AT&T and make a note of the settings before going for factory defaults.

Want it back too factory set up

Go to the on-screen menu.

select 'Feature' (on left)
select 'Advanced Video Set'
select 'Setting' - restores to factory default

If you are having trouble with just the Audio or Video settings and want to reset just one of them back to the factory defaults, there are 'Setting' selections in each of the Video and Audio sections which will set each section back to the factory defaults.

HOW DO I SET MY LAPTOP BACK TO FACTORY

For (Operating Systems=windows98,xp,vista)
unless you have a custom program to do this you can only restore back using (system restore) however that will not restore it to factory settings.. the best way is simply re-installing the Operating system after Formatting your entire Harddisk space (all partitions)
If you don't know how to do it.. then simple follow the instructions after booting the windows CD
PS: to boot windowsxp cd you have to set BIOS settings (F2 or F10 or Del Button at start of computer) to boot CD before HDD..

There is no simple restore factory settings in Laptops
