Please can someone help me, i cant get my phone sony ericsson K800i to switch on it went white screen then never returned,ive read about flashing will tis work etc and where do i start, mant thanks

To be completely honest regarding Flashing the phone... it is not easy and has many steps. I would recommend going to www.gsmhosting.net. There, search for forums on flashing the K800i software. To flash the phone, you will need a Cruiser Box, the correct cable, and the full software for that phone and your service provider. The K800i is DB2020, which is Sony Ericsson's most up to date encryption.
Believe me though, there is way to much involved in flashing the phone to post here. How long have you had it and if there is no moisture, have you considered a warranty exchange through Sony Ericsson?

I did not get any solution from the Forum. I went to the sony ericsson web site, clicked support,downloded the UPDATE SERVICE on my computor, followed instructions step by step and the problem got solved.
I had a similar issue, whereby my phone would turn on for 30 secs then the screen would go white and the phone would switch it self off then on.
After a lot of messing around even throwing the phone around the place. I took out the memory card and the phone worked fine. When I put the card back in, the phone started misbehaving again, so I guess the card is knackered.
First of all backup if possible your every important thing because further steps erase your all phone data.Switch off ur phone hold

Hello I turned my K800i moble phone off before going to bed, when switching on again in the moring the screen was just a very bright white colour, have not been able to use since, please can you help :O)
G'day guys, whats most likely happened is that the there is something wrong with the erom or phone software, I've actually encountered this problem before and fixed it.
