I have just checked my 720 and when you turn any of the dials on a neon lights up near the dial to illuminate that particular dial. Now as far as I can see the diagrams in the handbook do not show the neons as such. However, they do show a 'neon printed circuit board' that has connections to all the switches. So if all the three neons fail to come on, it would suggest that the neon P.C.B. and/or its associated wiring has failed. I'm afraid you will need an electrician to sort it to conform what has failed. Espares may be able to obtain the part for you. If you need a copy of the handbook, (with diagrams) supply an email address and I will send you a pdf copy.
If the oven is on automatic, a small 'A' will appear in the clock window. To remove this press the second and third buttons from the left simultaneously.
If you need more information, supply an email address and I will send you a pdf copy of the handbook.
The manufacturer's handbook tells you how to do it (it is at the back). I have scanned my copy and it is on my BT digital vault, so if you want a copy, post here an email address for you and you can have a copy.
I have a user guide and as I said on another post I will try and scan it so that anyone can have a copy. In the meantime, is there anything you need to know?
