One of the small wheels came off the grill as I was pushing out of my garage. The grill rolled on its back. I put the grill back upright and now when I plug it in and turn the digital dial it says "Err". Is there anything I can do besides take the grill back to the store?

Instead of taking it back to the store, which I don't think will solve the problem. As, it's not really a warranty issue. Contact Traeger Industries Technical Service Dept 800-872-3437 for a solution to the Error Code.

What can I do to unlock the steering column on my 1996 Toyota Camry?

When the car started rolling it locked it up tight. Try putting the car in neutral, put the key in and push against the car in the opposite direction that it rolled while you turn the key and jerk on the steering wheel. You will need to slightly roll the car back to get it unlocked. Get a buddy to help you push the car if you can.

I have two braces that come off of the rear axel and attach to the frame towards the back of the axel. What are these called?

hi these braces are for lateral stability.. they help to stop body roll and to allow the axle to keep the wheels on the ground when cornering.. jeeps are notoriuos for rolling when pushed hard on a bend so the wheels maintaining grip helps keep you upright.

NEED TO CHANGE A BELT

First you need to remove the metal cover to expose the brush roll assembly. Push up the plastic cover connected to the foot pedal to expose the motor shaft. Remove the brush roll assembly and simply hook the belt on the motor shaft first then pull back the brush roll and push the brush roll back to the slot. There's a small piece of plastic on the left hand side of the brush roll. This piece would go in after the brush is set in the slot. Finally, replace the metal cover.

Oreck upright hard to push

If hard to push, only a few things to check:

(1) Rear wheels will get hair or thread wrapped around axles, dust, etc. and be hard to turn. Make sure each wheel turns easily.

(2) Small wheels on newer models (since about 1997-98) toward front are worn, missing or have same problem as item 1.

(3) Brush roll not turning. The brush roll actually helps pull this unit along the floor, as it rotates in the "forward" direction. If the belt broke, and you do not realize it, it may suddenly seem harder to push.

After changing the belt and reaasembling, the vacuum is very difficult to roll

Take a look at the rubber bumper around the outside of the unit, is it properly seated?

Did you change belt by the small access door on the unit, or is this an older unit that requires removal of the baseplate?

Check each wheel, make sure it spins freely.

Check to make sure the brush roll is turning, it actually "pulls" the unit forward, makes it easier to push.

Off hand, those are the only things that should affect the rolling resistance.

My Oreck has in the last 2 weeks become very hard to push on carpet , ok on bare floors. Thanks

Look at 3 things:
(1) is there something wrapped around the rear
wheels or axles?
(2) Is there something wrapped around the small, front wheels or axles. (not likely this is the culprit.)
(3) Is your brushroll still turning. (This requires looking underneath while unit is on, have someone else nearby to pull the cord from wall, turn on & off quickly and make sure brush roll spins.

If it is rear wheels, you can pop them out if necessary to clean the debris, they may be hard to press back in. Similar for the small front wheels, don't loose the axles. If brush roll is issue, check belt, insure that brush roll will spin freely and does not have debris wrapped around it.

How do I change the flilter on the sebo upright

Depends on the filter you're talking about:
The first filter is in the bag area- unhook and lift off the bin door, then bend down and flick your finger onto the left hand spring that locks the long cylindrical felt filter in place and lift upwards - this will loosen and unlock the filter from the base - put your hand at the back or front of the filter at the front near the base and pull towards you - the filter should then slide off easily.
Or it could be the motor filter you are referring to; push the pedal all the way down on the pedal release to put the X1/X1.1/X4/X5 into the lay-flat cleaning position, and push back the grille on top of the hood - you'll see a push finger mechanism there of which the grille will then be unlocked and can be picked up.

Microsoft Wireless Optical mouse 2.0 Sticky central wheel

I just took mine apart to fix same problem, works much better but not sure for how long.

Quite simple to dismantle the unit.

Take the battery cover off, remove batteries.
There is a small screw in the middle of the battery cavity, you will need a very small Phillips head screwdriver.
Gently ease the base (holding circuit board) from the top shell
The wheel unit can be gently eased out of its cradle, use the small screwdriver to pop it out, watch out for the small spring between base and wheel unit, don't lose it
You can disconnect the wheel unit from the circuit board by unhooking the small plug connector

Now defluff, then clean the wheel - I used a tiny amount of turps on a cloth, anything similar should work. If you look closely the reason the wheel won't roll smoothly is that the gel ring on the wheel is too close and rubs at the front and back of the cradle. Once grime builds up, this problem makes the wheel unusable. Roll the wheel back and forth along a clean surface once cleaned, should start rolling freely again.

I also unscrewed the top shell from the mouse buttons (all one piece, pinch the plastic pegs in the centre of the shell together to release) and cleaned the whole unit up before putting it back together

Don't forget the spring when putting the wheel unit back. When screwing the base to the top shell make sure there is no play between the two parts before you put the batteries back in, mine was a bit tricky to get tight again but worked fine second attempt
