Zanussi tc7103w power light on nothing working if i hold in the start button i can hear the timer going on but nothing else

Where does the tension spring go on a zanussi tc7103w?

Needs to be hooked on to motor so there is lots of tension pulling on the motor.if i remember correctly there is a long thin bolt holding the motor together and this is the place to attach spring. Hope this helped Tim

When you turn on the drier it trips the electricty. there is power in to the power switch but when you turn the dial it trips the fuse box. the model is TC7103W

an electrical earth leakage will cause the trip. possibly the the heating element. but the motor or wiring fault can do it. you could try disconnecting the heater if the electric stays on. then change the element.

Common faults -
1 The heating elements can fail (meaning open circuit)
2 There are cut-outs (T.O.C's) that might need resetting
3 The thermostats (stats) can trip out or burn out (meaning opencircuit)
4 Moderntumble dryers also have sensors and pcb's (Printed circuitboards) thesehave programs that can fail and circuitry although most should produce an errorcode showing you were the fault is.
5 Faultyconnections and burned wires may also be the fault.

its either going to be fluff in the float which you can get at by taken the side panel off .or its fluff in the valve behind the water tank

Zanussi tumble dryer model TC7103W ** heat, machine runns ok, changed compleate heater unit including thermostat.

it could be the timer what sometimes happens is a wire can burn out or have a break in it have had some dryers do this to me and have had to change part of the wiring to fix the customers dryer
