I have a thomson dti 6300-16 set top recorder box. i live in derby and have experienced the digital switch over. my tv after rescanning is perfectly fine, with no loss of service or channels. however my set top box has failed for the last 48hrs. i have rebboted several times and completed auto scans. everything works and i can watch all the channels through my set top box on my tv, my pre recorded programmes are still successfully there and working. but no information on the channels appear now. i cannot see a tv guide anymore...so i cant see whats on now or next...so it doesnt let me record either. what can i do

hello, this sounds more like a cable or satelite problem. hame you tried reseting your cable or sat box? usually when you reset the box it will download the guide again...

Please clarify a few things. Are you using cable TV, satellite TV or a TV antenna? If cable, are you using a set top box (and is it powered on) or does the TV convert the cable info. If satellite, is the set top box powered on? If off the air (antenna TV), can the TV receive the new digital signals and if not, do you have a digital converter box between the antenna and the TV?

I have a LG tv set. When i press the tv/av button on the remote my tv shows av1, av2 earlier but now it is showing only av. So i am unable to watch my dvd player. Need help.

Seeing as it does not have a digital tuner in it, I would think this would be the problem, you will have to get a box for it.

Sounds to me like your hard drive is full. Do you use the topup tv part of the box? If not, deselect all the topup tv channels. This will free up a significant amount of drive. Failing that, you'll have to delete some of your programs, sorry!
To deselect topup tv channels;
Go into the menu option, Customise Top Up TV Anytime, and de-activate all the selected channels
