Hi, I bought this remington Epilator Product Code ( EP-6025 ) from www.amazon.com. The adaptor that came with it is faulty. The light on the Epilator does not Glow when the adapter is plugged in. The user manual says it has 2 years warranty. Where do i contact for a new adaptor? Remington australia or remington US? I really like the product, so dont want to return it to amazon, if I can get a new adaptor. I currently live in Melbourne, Australia. Thanks. Regards Swati P.

If you are in Australia and ordered this item from the US, it is only made to be used with 120V. The voltage in your country is 220V. If you attempted to use the item, you have fried the charger due to the excessive voltage. Misuse is not covered under manufacturer warranty.

Warranty information was contained in the user manual that came with the unit. Follow the instructions there to contact the manufacturer.

SOURCE: I have a brand new remington r 9500 r rotary

Model R-9500 has been discontinued for several years. It is very possible that the batteries are dead because they are so old. You may need to replace them. You will find the correct battery type at shaveroutlet.com. See link below. You will need 2

http://shaveroutlet.com/shaver-replacement-parts/batteries/shaver-battery-pack-for-most-shavers-p-211.html

To change batteries, remove three screws on back. The third screw is hard to see. To access it, you will need to remove the trimmer from the point that it pivots out from the shaver. Use a small flat screwdriver to gently pry the small plastic pegs from their corresponding sockets on the shaver body. Remove back cover. Inside, remove the metal clip that covers the batteries near the bottom of the shaver. Unsolder the batteries from the wires. Solder in the new batteries.

If you are not able to repair the shaver yourself, shaveroutlet.com can do it for you. See link below

SOURCE: How to clean a remington

AFTER EACH USE
CLEANING THE EPILATION HEAD Ensure the epilator is turned off and disconnected from the mains. Press the head release button/s and open the head assembly. (Diagram G) Turn the head assembly upside down. Using your thumbs, push the small sides together and push the epilation head upwards. This releases the curved epilation head. Brush the accumulated hair from the tweezers by turning the barrel manually. NOTE: The body of the epilator is not washable. Do not submerge in water.
TO REMOVE RESIDUE To remove residue from the stainless steel tweezers, dampen a swab with alcohol. Gently run the swab over the tweezers until the residue has been removed.

SOURCE: remington epilator is not getting

You likely need to replace the battery. This needs to be done by an Authorized Service Dealer. To find your nearest dealer in the USA, use the online search function here:

http://www.remingtonproducts.com/ConsumerService/AuthorizedServiceDealers.aspx

If you are in another country, go to the top right of the screen, mouse over the Country and select your country. Look for a tab for the Authorized Service Dealer search function.

I have an epilator (Remington Model # EP-6025). I have been using it in US and now, I would like to use it in India. Can I just use an adoptor for the chord and use this epilator

Yes, India uses 230 Volts at 50 Hz alternating current as the power source. Plugs and sockets have either grounded earthed 3 Pin connections (Type D) or ungrounded 2 pin connections (Type C).
All you need is an adaptor like the one in the picture.

Satinelle HP6409 Epilator: I have epilator philips satinelle ice with europia...

The epilator is universal voltage so the power lead should not matter. You could get an adaptor to convert from Europe to US and that would do fine.

Otherwise, try http://www.support.philips.com/support/service/onlineStore.jsp?userCountry=us&userLanguage=en
