Hi threr I have the following problem with my Haier DW12-EFM dishwasher: The dishwasher seems to operate properly for the first several minutes untill program selector knob stops betwin position 2 and 3. After I turn it manually it keeps on turning and than it stops again after I turn it again it operates till the end of the program but the dishes are not clean enough to be used. I also noticed that the heater does not operate (water is cold). Do you know wht the problem might be. Regards Lukasz Kubinski

This is either a fault with the temperature sensors or the timer it's self, Not a simple one to diagnose without some general knowledge of how these circuits operate

On another site, someone posted this: "I called (website), where it was purchased from, and they gave me the number for the manufacturer. Some standard troubleshooting did the trick and my dishwasher is working perfectly again. The troubleshooting involved tilting the dishwasher backwards at a 45-degree angle and letting any excess water drain out. They said ocassionally the water intake will be blocked and this process helps move anything that may have gotten in the way"

I was having the beeping problem too, and decided to give it a try, tipped it for a few, and found it to work!!! Hope this maybe helps!

SOURCE: Open the dishwaser while still filling now keeps going to error

After reading a few of the other Haier models troubles, I pulled the unit out and tip it at 45 degrees backwards for around minute. Water pored from the back of the unit, once cleaned water up reinstalled unit and all seems to be back in working order.

SOURCE: DIshwasher drain clogged Haier dishwasher model DW12-PFE2-E

Remove the drain hose from the sink drain assembly and force air into the hose--The clog should spit out into the washer cabinet. Make sure the drain hose doesn't have any kinks or sharp bends. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Our Haier HDC1804TW counter-top dishwasher

Since mine does the very same thing, it's my guess that is the sterilising cycle as by this point it has already washed, done a short fill to remove any remaining detergent, and two rinses. I'm also assuming the second short fill is just to cover the heating element and/or to to generate an amount of steam having being heated by the element (I'm basing that assumption on the heat of the dishes at the end of end of the cycle and the heat of the water when it drains)

My Haier DW12 dish washer does not switch on?

If your Haier DW12 dishwasher is not switching on, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the power source: Make sure that the dishwasher is properly plugged into a functioning power outlet. You can test the outlet by plugging in another device to see if it works.
  2. Check the circuit breaker: Check the circuit breaker for the room where the dishwasher is located. If the circuit breaker has tripped, reset it and try turning on the dishwasher again.
  3. Check the door latch: Ensure that the dishwasher door is fully closed and the latch is properly engaged. The dishwasher will not turn on if the door is not securely closed.
  4. Check the control panel: Inspect the control panel for any damage or signs of wear. If the buttons or display are not working, it may be a problem with the control panel.
  5. Check the fuse: Check the fuse in the dishwasher's power cord. If the fuse is blown, replace it and try turning on the dishwasher again.
  6. Professional repair: If none of the above steps work, it may be a more serious problem that requires professional repair. It is recommended to contact Haier customer support or a professional repair technician for assistance.
It is important to take caution when attempting to troubleshoot or repair a dishwasher, as these appliances can be dangerous if not handled properly. If you are not confident in your ability to perform repairs, it is best to seek the assistance of a professional.

Our 3 week old Haier DW12-TFE2 Series Dishwasher has stopped working, the water remains inside from the prievious wash. We have found that by emptying the water manually that it will run a was cycle, but...

Kink in the line or possible obstruction in the discharge, very bad to leave stagment water in your dishwasher you can get contaminents that way, I suggest from experience and to be safe to use extra hot water and bleach a tablespoon or so, and flush thru there, also check the hoses make sure they are not blocked and thewre is an air gap, and the height of the discharge is proper. After flushing get a box of baking soda, and some distilled vinegar and under neath your sink you will see the discharge or p trap, either place that in there thru the sink drain or put in the dishwasher with no dishes of course and allow the vinegar and baking soda enough to just reach the drain turn off unit and let the vinegar bomb do its thing, this also works for your laundry drain too, always good to flush them every now and again, if you start getting water backing up in your tub, you need a pump of your septic tank, or a thaw, or if on city water and sewer, you have blockage, hope this helps, good luck

We have a Haier DW12-PFE2-U dishwasher thats 2 years old. The cycle stopped yesterday leaving an amount of water in the bottom and all of the program lights are illuminated with a recurring beeping sound...

Refer userr guide on page 21. It reads...

When all the programme indicators " J" blink.

Have you checked whether:
the door is closed properly.

The door switch could be the problem or the door seal is pushing the door open. May need replacement.

DW12-PFE2-U lights up but will not start program

Hi there,

Well first of all you can check out the door switch - The door switch is important because, if it's defective, the dishwasher won't work at all. To reach it, you need to remove the control panel cover, or sometimes the interior liner of the door. If it's defective, you need to completely replace it. Your switch also may be locked in place by a locking clip. If this is the case there should be a button or a lever that you can press or pull, which will release the switch and it can simply be removed. Please post comments for further help or information........

Good Luck!!

Thanks

I have a DW12-PFE2-2 the dishwasher tablet does not dissolve,it is still in the dishwasher detergent dispenser after wash has finished?

HI Accumulated detergent from prior washings can cause problems with the soap dispenser. Buildup can get into the soap dispenser and interfere with the spring that triggers the flip-out tray, or it can slow down the pivot action of the tray. If the dispenser is not opening, first make sure you aren't loading the machine so dishes or pots and pans are touching the dispenser, and that dish racks aren't blocking the dispenser. Also check to make sure the dispenser tray isn't cracked. If leftover detergent in the tray is almost liquid, rather than just damp, the tray may be damaged.
If you can't solve the problem easily, replace the entire dispenser unit. This is usually easier than trying to disassemble it and replace separate parts. Use a new dispenser made for the dishwasher. The screws holding the dispenser in place may be on the front of the unit, or you may have to remove the front door panel to get to the screws and make the replacement. Remove the old dispenser and secure the new one, connecting it in the same way the old unit was attached.
