sometimes if the page from the printer comes out faded it seems like the ink is low if not you will have to change the printer settings so it will print full dark ink on page. there are settings to print a draft or full dark print out. see if it is set on draft
Status
TheStatusfolder contains links to the following main pages.
Device Status. This page indicates product conditions such as a jam or an empty tray. After you correct a problem, clickRefresh statusto update the product status.
Supplies Status. View details such as the estimated percent of toner remaining in the print cartridge and the number of pages that have been printed with the current print cartridges. This page also has links for ordering supplies and for finding recycling information.
Device Configuration. View a detailed description of the current product configuration, including the amount of memory installed and whether optional trays are installed.
Network Summary. View a detailed description of the current network configuration, including the IP address and network status.
Print Info Pages. Print the Configuration page and other information pages, such as the Supplies status page.
IF the Kodak AiO printer is printing partial ther are two main device of the printer that have issue on the scanner [where you put the document for copying] or the printhead of the printer. Step that you can do 1. Try to print a test pagein this way you can check if the printer prints whole page. How to print test page press copy button and photo button on the printer for atleast 10 sec. or until the printer starts printing. ReminderTest page doesn't need a document on the scanner glass. It will print an advertising doc for the printer. Now if the test page is half/partial it is the printhead that has an issue. To reseat printhead open the printer access door; remove the ink cartridges; remove the printhead; close the printer access door then open the printer access door insert the printhead then the ink cartridges. 3. Print a self test diagnostic page to check the status of the black ink and print heads. To print the self-test diagnostic page • Control panel: Press (Configuration Page button), or press and hold the (Cancel button) for 3 seconds. Toolbox

links to the onscreen user's guide for help in performing basic printing tasks and solving
problems.

The Toolbox is available for Windows computers only.
If the Toolbox was not installed with the other printer software components, you can install it
using the installation program on the Starter CD.
To monitor a printer on a shared port (for example, \\portname\printername) from a client
machine, the Toolbox must be running on the server machine as well as on the client machine.

Printer Information
Provides links to myPrintMileage and shows the printer hardware and printhead
health information. You can also use the tab to obtain information about
accumulated ink and media use, statistics up to the last 20 jobs, and job tracking.
Help Information
Provides links to HP Instant Support and HP Customer Support, as well as to the
onscreen user's guide for help in performing tasks and troubleshooting. It also

Try this one, Turn on the printer, Take out the inks, remove the printhead, put back the printhead make sure it will snap and you hear a click, put the inks back, wait for the printer to initialize, Press the Menu button, look for Calibrate printer, then print calibration page, then scan it after. Load a regular paper. Then try to print a demo page by pressing Photo and Copy at the same for 5 seconds then let it go. Try placing sheet of black text on copy board, and run many copies black only. I ran 25x12 times still no black. Run head clean after about each 50 sheets. Persevered and finally BLACK ink OK This worked on my C6180. Good Luck
