Our Bosch 435 is not closing correctly. Usually what we do is take a strip of duct tape and tape the door closed. Otherwise there is a large gap in the oven door, requiring a while for it to heat up.
Is there any way to adjust the hinges or fix this problem?
For the door not closing....
I did the bending bit of the hinges as stated by kevinpaw123 and it did help to make the door close a bit better than it had been closing. I Had read on another site about putting a hammer handle down near to the hinges and then closing the door gently until pressure comes to bear on the hinge cavities that recess into the oven bottom - this is the bit that the door hinges recess into... the hammer was a bit on the large size and I had better success with a stainless table knife. When the knife was put between the door and the oven bottom close to the hinges and then the door was closed gently on this it pulled the recessed hinge slides out a little bit allowing the top of the door to close like it should. The next move I guess will be to pull the oven out and locate the screws that hold the hinge slides in place and tighten them to stop the slides moving back in again. When these door hinge recessess move in it puts pressure on the bottom of the door against the oven and stops the door from closing properly at the top. I had the same type of problem. I unhinged the door then disassembled the door (it's really quite easy)
after you take all the TORX screws out the everything comes apart! Don't worry about the screws putting them back is a snap! Now that you have the door apart take the door hinges out of the inner door plate.
If you look at then closely they will have a slight bend in them. Pay attention to how they would have been positioned on the door! Simply bend them slightly I used the edge of a step! My door now shuts completely! I hope this info helps many of you having the same problem! If you take the time it really is amazing how easy it is to solve the door issue! Thanks to my buddy RON.

There is some adjustment for the hinges but it involves removing the oven from the wall. On either side (outside) of the oven there is a screw on panel. This panel has screws around the perimeter which can be loosened and shifted somewhat to provide a tight seal.
If there is door is open by any greater than 1/2 inch when it is supposed to be in the closed position then I am afraid that you will have to install new hinge assemblies.
You will have to check your owner's manual to see if you qualify for any warranty repair. The hinges usually cost around $100 each. This link will show you what the hinge assembly looks like:

After I took out the screws that held the oven into the wall, I pulled the oven out a few inches. There were then, 3 door adjusting screws on the bottom, underneath the oven.
It helped a TAD, but I think I will need new hinges.
I am very unsatisfied. The oven was around $1000. I know these types of things happen but I feel BOSCH should offer a better warranty than 1 year.
