it may be the speed of your connection ...if you have a low wireless connection this is the issue ..or ..you can try reinstall itunes cause it may have a fault ..
your going to have to wipe out your ipod and start it over as if it was new by doing a complete master reset on it you tube will be of greater help if you research it and also if you had it jailbroken your really just fucked
Dear letsneuk, (I hope your not Dutch/Flemish :] )
iPhone's/iPod Touches DO NOT work as an external (flash) drive wich Windows sometimes detects as camera's.
Download iTunes instead, to sync your music etc.
here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Good luck.
And kind regards,
FriskYR.
You need to flash your iPod Touch (I believe you have that one) with a firmware file. (Please note that all your music will be deleted! Use IFunBox for backuping your music)
1. Download new iPod Touch 2G firmware from here 2. Connect your iPod & open iTunes 3. Hold down the Shift button on your keyboard and click Restore in iTunes 4. Browse and select the .ipsw (firmware) file you downloaded 5. The process will start and will take about 15 minutes, after that the secutiry code will be reset and you can use your iPod again!
Hi, I think you are using Itunes to Sync your IPOD-T.
If u r using Itunes Then u shouldn't delete any thing from ur ITUNES... Because, Sync is a option which will check the contents of your ipod and Itunes... If u erase anything from your itunes, then it will erase the same in ur IPod as well.... So U shouldn't delete anything from ur itunes....
Other option would be Manual Sync option... Where u have to drag and drop the contents from ur Itunes. Everytime....
Let me know, whether u want to manually add contents to ur ipod. so tat i can send u the settings?
you need to restore it either with itunes or manually if manuel hold home for 5 seconds dont stop while holding it put in you usb connecter your usb connecter must be connected to the computer
Itunes can sync infinite ipods and should have no trouble, so there isnt a problem with having two ipods. Try this: turn off your ipod, hold the home button, and plug it into
itunes while still holding the home button until a picture of the itunes symbol
appears with a cable under it. itunes should say "ipod found in restore
mode". this will get rid of any previous users' settings, and hopefully fix anything preventing itunes from syncing with your ipod.
when it says to restore your ipod, you do not need to download itunes again like it sounds in your paragraph.. unfortunately this is an issue lots of ipod owners deal with so if you have everything backed up on itunes then you should be fine.. just click restore and it will do it's job on your ipod but you will have to resync all your stuff from itunes back onto your ipod..
