The device is drained to the bone this should go away and boot after 30 minutes max. I'm assuming you are using the original blackberry charger using a charger that fits but doesn't match the voltage/amperage that the blackberry charger outputs you wont be able to get rid of the drained battery screen if your blackberry haves juice you can use a non-approved weaker charger but that screen means it needs the original....also the blackberry USB is lets the same amount of electricity

Dead battery. Try that first.
If that's not the case. the battery contact terminal might be bad. Which is common.

Chances are, it's just a fried battery that needs to be replaced

MY BLACKBERRY BOLD 9000 WON'T TURN ON!!! My friend gave me her Blackberry Bold 9000. It's battery was replaced a few months ago but it hasn't been used since then. When I plug it into the wall charger,...

Ok...don't panic. The charger you are using is not compatible. Verizon only works with verizon blackberry's. Non verizon will not work with blackberry and vice versa. This is what will happen. you plug it in and it will boot for a few seconds and then the lightning bolt you see is the charge icon and then a red line in it means that charger is not compatable. Blackberry does make its own charger but there is a "pin" on the plug in that will tell it it is not the right one. Am I confusing you?

My blackberry bold 9700 is showing a white blank screen saying app error 523 reset

Dear user,
The reason of the white screen of , you install third party software , that soft ware is not compatible with your Blackberry ,
First you have to remove that software , or if your device is not booting , then you have to format your device and upload new Blackberry OS with desktop manager .

I hope it will solve your problem

Blackberry Bold fails to boot up

Try to restore the blackberry without the battery inserted. Google instructions on how to upgrade the BB firmware. Does the device seem to boot normally, but with a white screen? Then it's a broken screen. Does it not seem to boot even after the firmware restore or the restore error out - then it's a broken motherboard. Both can be replaced fairly easily. Here is an Blackberry Repair Guide that shows how to open a Blackberry. If you want somebody else to do it for you go to Blackberry Repair.

I dropped my blackberry bold and screen is white with red line

That means no battery, your lucky. Just go to a phone place and try a new battery. I am assuming you already took the battery out and tried reinserting it. Does the battery have red xx's on the bottom, if so it probably fell on grass and the moisture got to the battery some how.
