You can take a spark plug tester and plug one end into the spark plug wire and the place the other end on the spark plug and pull the starter rope and see if there is a spark present. Hope this helps.
I would also take the air filter element off and clean and reoil it. You may be pulling sufficient fuel, but if there isn't enough air in the mix, your leaf blower will stall out. I would clean the air filter, and you may want to take the carb unit off and spray it out with aerosol carb cleaner. The carb cleaners are available at local auto parts houses, and it comes with a small spray tube to put on the nozzle so you can pinpoint the spray into the carb jets etc.
Also change your spark plug as they get fouled due to the fuel oil mixture.. best of success!
IN the tank there is a intake tube on the bottem of that tube is a tiny filter. you can reach in and pull it out the tank enough to work on it.
It is clogged pull it off let it dry for a day and then blow it clean fron the gas line side OUT.
