Hello,

These lines are possibly cause by a failing inverter cables from the graphics device transferring the signal to the LCD panel. Apparently, no easy fix for this unless you can reseat the inverter cables and if it won't work consider replacing them. But, the best thing to do about it is to contact your manufacturer and seek professional assistance to avoid tampering.

Vertical rainbow stripes on my GB color

I would say that the screen is causing the lines in a gameboy colour the lines are not the same like it would be in an orginal gameboy the one with the four batteries. Lines in gameboy color are the screen issues then the whole screen would have to be replaced on the GBC then.

Thin vertical line appears on projector

I have found that vertical lines that suddenly appear from projectors are due to poorly connected cables. Sut off your projector and wait for the fan to go off. Then unplug the connectors from the computer to the projector and secure them again, making sure to go all the way. Hope this helps.

if they are stationary vertical lines in picture and consistently appear after warmng up most likely would be a display issue. displays have control boards attached to them that would sometimes cause intermittent lines to come and go but if when these lines appear, they do not go away without powering off and leaving off for awhile and if no video can be seen behind lines the lcd panel would be where the failure is and would have to be replaced to resolve issue

Stripy Boot Up

is it a new graphic card? Sometimes that happens when the graphic card gets overheated and fries up some chips. and sometimes those lines appear when the graphic card has fault in Direct Draw. Try setting your BIOS settings to default. if it doesn't work, i recommend you to take the graphic card to the nearest hardware tech ;)
