Hi I'm looking stereo wiring diagram for nissan micra s 2003 to connect new market stereo harness

Hi, you can usually buy a stereo wiring harness that plugs right into your car and they are color coded to match the standard aftermarket wire radio harness, all you do is take the plug from your new stereo and match the wires with the adapter, just connect the matching wire colors. it's super easy and well worth the $15-20, and you don't have to cut up your factory harness.
good luck!

Speaker wiring diagram for a 08 dodge 2500 truck with 7 speaker infinity

Never have found good wiring diagrams for stereo's. Bought them and color codes didn't match. I have mitchell and alldata at work, they don't match. I wire them in with a volt/ohm meter. I find B+, Then hook ignition the the heater control wire. Ohm out the speakers. Thing is, you have infinity. You'll have to find the amp and cut the speaker wires and patch them there also, first. Just a note.. All speaker wires are twisted/paired wires. Cut the tape back 4 to 6 inches to find them. Another note. The speaker wires from the stereo to the amp will be a set of colors. From the amp to the speakers will be different colors.

your stereo should have come with a wiring diagram for it that at least tells you what color wire is what coming out of the stereo just match up the colors/signals per this chart: This for for a typical ford- http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/Ford-Wiring.pdf

My car stereo was stole they cut the factory wiring harness from the durango i need to know the color codes of the wires please

That's hard to answer cause it depends on how far back on the wire harness they cut. Plus if you have a Bose system or not. I would highly suggest to take it into a stereo install shop to at least check it out but maybe install the new stereo.

There is a wiring color code that all vehicles use but if the wires have been cut to far back they will be different colors. If you have a factory amp then you will have to rewire for the speakers to bypass it.

I added below the color code. Make sure you disconnect your battery before you start wiring anything.

Please note: You can do major damage to your truck computer and other components if you wire it wrong.

Proceed at your own risk

I have a 93 jeep grand cherokee and the wires on my sony cd player dont match up and i dont know what the right way should be

Im quessing you are trying to install a sony radio into your jeep. The question is do you still have a plug on the wires in the dash? Or has the plug been cut off? If you still have the plug-you can buy a wire harness from Best Buy or Crutchfield or any car stereo shop that will match the wires for you. If you need more info on how to install this radio without the harness, e-mail me cuz it's alot of typing for nothing if you don't.

Car stereo switch out

Ok, first off, NEVER CUT WIRES!!!! what you need to do is go to your local audio store ie. best buy etc. buy a wire harness. It makes everything so simple, just match colors. If your wires are already cut, then you need a haynes manual about $15.

The wires for the stereo are cut

Yes this is not to bad to deal with.. make sure you use quality wire connectors so you don't have problems later with bad connections. you pretty much just have to match the colors from the harness in the car to the ones on your deck. If you don't want to cut off the harness connector on your deck just purchase one that you can connect to your deck and cut the wire ends on the other side of the adapter. The only wires you wont be able to match color for color is speaker wires... for these you will just have to hook them up temp. and test to see that they are connected to the proper speaker output. close.gif Read more >> Options >> answers-logo.gif
