Mitsubishi vs-60719 my tv is turning on for about 10 seconds then turns off. and when it dosent turn off the picture has lines and you can barley see anything.

This set was made around 2001 and should have the self check feature. Unplug set and then plug back in and try to turn set on----if green power light comes on for a few seconds and goes off--ON the front of the set press and hold menu and input buttons together for several seconds and then release--------------power light should blink a two digit error code and repeat it several times.

1 blinks, 2 blinks a pause and then repeats(1,2 is no error found.)

Try unplugging power cable for ten minutes.

try to check the power supply it has a shorted parts commonly transistors or leaky capacitors

Maybe the flyback are damaged

Your bulb could be in needing of being replaced

Have a tech check for bad solder connections on connector GP on the main board and on the CRT G board connector SP. also to check solder on IC451.

these sets have bad connections in the picture yokes take the spekerr grill off and front cover move the wires around and see if the pic comes back be careful ok

replace the regulator and check for bad connections

Either a bad solder connection on your convergence module or a bad convergence IC. Repair costs will probably be in the $350-$500 range.
