Hi there my lg tv i plug it in an the lights come on on the front an if i look into the grill on the back theres a red light comes on but the scrren is not working and ever is the sound some one said it maybe a fuse but i dont no where to find them plese could you help me and thank you

i have the same problem, I've been tapping the back of the tv by the power supply and it was been working, the red light comes on in the front and i'm able to turn the tv on, has anyone been able to figure out what the deal is with this

What you might want to do is unplug the TV from the wall, Allow it to rest there for 1-5 mins. Then plug it back into the wall then try turning it on.

If the TV does not turn on after that then there is some issues with the internal power supply inside. You issue could be caused by a internal component called a electrolytic Capacitor. But before we put the cart in front of the horse please get back with me if the power cycle did or did not work.

make sure u put the door back for the lamp also unplug the tv fron the outlet wait 2 minutes plug back , sometimes when the lamp is replace when tv still plug needs to be reset

concerning your problem most of related trouble on Lg or Samsung tv are power suply
module on witch there are a few capacitor that need to be replace there are 1000uf 16volt that you could replace by yoursel if you are handy with soldering tools or you can look for the part number printed on the board and find it on ebay
for in between 100-200$

You can purchase a cable to connect to the Audio Out ports on the back of the TV. It will have 2 RCA connectors on one side that plugs into the TV and a 1/4" stereo jack on the other end that you will connect your headphones to. You could even pickup a pair of wireless headphones... they will have a volume control on them! I hope this helps.

lg tv 26lc7d, when I plug the power cord in the red power light cuts on then turn right back off, the tv will not stay on.

Those lights are a code. I don't know which TV you have, exactly. But the manual will tell you what the light code indicates and what to do about it.

Does it show menu when pressed? If not, can you see the backlights flicker when tv is switched off?

i think your bulb is shot must be replaced
