My iLive IS208B iPod docking station doesn't have any sound coming.The clock is working; once I dock the 2nd generation iPod nano it turns on and off too but the speakers of the docking station are not working neither does the blue light at the bottom of it light up any more.

Hello everyone with this problem I bought a use unit last sunday and it was working ok till next day then not sound not light , I try to push every botton and shut off and on but nothing , after many times I decide to open the boom box , and resoldering all the connections take like 1hour but now the unit works perfect the only thing is the blue light never came on , but cd works fine and radio also the dock for the ipod , is working fine
I can't get mine to work at all its like it has low power he has a really slow start up the clock pops up abd it takes about 10 seconds and it starts slowly blinking and it becomes faster and faster tell it blinks at the normal speed Or it just does this and the light turns on and that's it
The problem got solved itself.I left the docking station alone for a day and the next day when I plugged it in it was working.

same problem. The functions seem to be working, although no sound is produced and the blue background LED is not on. I've taken in dowm and removed the power source, but upon pluggin it in again the same problem occurs.
same problem with my daughter's ilive. The blue light does work however. Left it alone for a couple days. Still no sound. Any help appreciated
i have a similar problem i plug it in everything is seeming to work it charges my ipod, u can change the songs and everything but the sound or the blue light does not come on it hasnt for days can someone please help???

yes i have ahd the same problem for about a week now and it still doesnt work even when i left it alone for 3 days it still didnt turn on.
We have plugged it in, and everything is working, but no sound comes out. When you turn the volume all the way up, and out your head to the speakers, you can hear them crackling/humming, but no iPod sound comes out. Seems like a manufacturing error.
mine isn't working either! it worked fine last night, and i turned it on this morning and no sound came out. the blue light that is usually on is not working either.
This thing stinks.I had the same thing happen with another iLIVE.I'm taking it back and get my money back and buy a Sony.
I have the same problem only I have two of these and they are brand new out of the box. I do not get any sound no matter what function I have it set to no matter how high I turn up the volume or how low I take it. I have tried every setting and function on these radios without any results. I sure would appreciate any information anyone can give me..I bought these on sale and the store will not take these back..right now they are only an expensive ipod charger....
that is happening to me the blue light is not lighting up any more no sound comes out even on the radio or ipod and its ticking me of and its plugged in and when i hit power it dosent even display anything now this is *** i hate this thing!!!!
Bought this IS208B for my daughter Jan'09. Worked until March'09! lights up
but no clock, no sound, no anything. Did not drop or damage. I emailed
the company's support today and hopefully will get a helpful response.
