I recently cleaned the jet on my Dometic RM2310. Before that it wouldn't cool enough, even on the highest setting. Now, after cleaning the jet, the main compartment freezes, even on the lowest setting. Any ideas? Thermostat control?

SOURCE: Dometic refrigerator freezing in bottom

Move your thermistor closer to the center. Your thermistor is attached to the fins on the inside of the fridge. Also turn off the fridge and take the circuit board cover off and make sure that the thermistor cable is plugged in. the cable is a 2 wire terminal will be on upper right or upper left of the circuit board just below the 6 pin connector. There is another possibility but remote. The cooling unit may be getting ready to stop working. Have had many customers tell me that the fridge started freezing up and a few days later quit working completely.
Hope this helps you.

SOURCE: Refrigerator not working on gas

There is some reason maybe not explained here. But I will help you if you want. Below is a simple test. The manual I need you to make sure if you have the RM2652 or another model to get the correct manual. That model has digital controls and that is controlled by a control board for switching from AC to DC to Propane. If the board will not switch then we need to look for that problem. Dometic, good refrigerate and great support group. Now here is a link to that model number problem solving PDF. With the manual we can work together to solve this. Thanks, Sea Breeze http://www.dometic.com/FileOrganizer/1-international/Operation%20&%20Installation%20Manuals/Refrigerators%20-%20Caravan%20-%20Motohomes-%20RV/English%20and%20Multilingual/RM2652-RM2852.pdf

Dometic RM2310 RV Fridge. It freezes food. Adjusting thermostat doesn't seem to help.

Question edited for full 'make model (what it is)'.
Question moved to Dometic category.

It sounds like the thermostat has failed. Here is your service manual.

Freezer works fine on propane but not the fridge

You may wish to check the flue clear anything that you find. Old birds next etc. Also make sure the flame and orifice are clean free from debris or rust. Propane should burn blue not orange. Incorrect gas setting if the flame is orange. Some yellow at the tip is ok. Proper adjustments are critical. Have you tried the unit on AC?
Other tips I have read indicate possible freezing in the back.
Defrost freezer completely as some here mentioned and restart see if this helps. Here is a good RV forum I saw good tips worth investigating.

If your not comfortable cleaning the jets and adjusting the flame have a professional do this. Safety comes first!
Good luck!

03 pt cruiser turbo - cooling fan is noisy.

Most electric cooling fans are noisy. They move large volumes of air to cool the engine. You will hear this noise most predominately when the fan spools up when you are stopped at a traffic light. As long as it is working and cooling the engine I wouldn't worry about it.

I have a sharp fridge SJ-P49N-SL. A recent power outtage in the area lasted 8 hours. When the power came back on, the fridge seemed to be ok. But, after 5-6 hours of operation, the freezer is not cold...

Checked Freezer Fan is working. Also checked defrost Fuse in freezer.
To checked freezer fan is working or not open freezer door press Door Switch and checked Cold air is coming from duct or not.

Freezer is working, crispers are cool, fridge is not...55 degrees even at the highest cool temp.

Typically the fridge gets its cool air from the freezer via a vent. There is likely something blocking that vent like ice. Move your food to a cooler and turn off the fridge long enough for the ice to thaw (12-24 hours).
If this does not resolve the problem then dismantling of the vents for cleaning will be required.

8/11-1997 motor home dometic rm2310 3-way frig: 2 days ago i got a nice blue flame for the gas operation.now, i can't get gas to flow to the burner to ignite the burner. that is when the gas is turned on...

Few items to check first.
Inspect propane regulator.
#1 Is the RV on level ground?
#2 Purge the air pocket in the line. Turn on all you stove heads. Let it burn for 3 minutes to eliminate air pocket on propane line.
#3 Inspect for leak marking on the outside panel.

Is there by any chance a cool air duct or register, or maybe return air duct near the thermostat, or perhaps on opposite wall,(behind it) that may be throwing it off? Have you tried just draping a small towel or facecloth over it to see if that changes anything? I've had one that acted similar in a 12 wide, and it turned out to be that the return air was directly behind it, and caused cool air to rush in around hole for wiring of thermostat, causing it to kick in & out about every 5 minutes. Heard a whistle when I was checking thermostat, and a light went on in my head. Plugged the hole up good & all was well. have you tried this number & link to contact tech assitance at dometic for some advice on it? Phone 1-800-544-4881 and ask for technical assistance.
