yep
it is common error for dp-180/190.
and the usual cause of that are worn out 2 bushings of heat roller
what you can do with that is to clean the fuser unit esp. the bushings of heat roller.
well off course the safest way is to replace the whole fusing unit.

this happens when you send fax on an autofax destination.

Make sure you have the correct driver by going to the dell website. If that checks out, make sure you have the most up to date service pack installed. You can run the update by clicking on start, programs and windows update in XP.

Bad fuser gear causes binding sound. Gear or fuser needs to be replaced by a tech.
