I inserted the installation CD-Rom in to the CD drive, installation screen appeared, then clicked "Install Mix it plug in". Then, internet screen popped up with cannot display the webpage. I am connected to the internet. It's almost as if the website to download info has changed maybe? Help!

I have a Printmaster Platinum 17 set of 4 discs. Which one do I load first ? Install CD or programme CD. Not having any luck. Help please .

Complete these steps:
  1. Close all programs and windows to return to the desktop.
  2. Insert the Install disc into the proper drive.
  3. Double-click the My Computer icon. For Windows® XP, click the Start button and choose My Computer if needed.
  4. Right-click the drive containing the program Install disc and choose Open from the menu that appears.
  5. Double-click the Setup folder.
  6. Double-click the SETUP.EXE or Setup file to begin the installation.
  7. Click Next in the window that appears.
  8. Select Modify from the list of available options and click Next.
  9. Click the button to the left of each heading and select "This feature, and all its subfeatures, will be installed on the local hard drive."
  10. Repeat Step 9 for each component that appears.
  11. Click Next.
  12. Click Install to continue the installation.
  13. For the CD version, when prompted to insert another CD, remove the current disc from the CD-ROM drive and insert the requested CD.
  14. Allow sufficient time for the drive to read the disc and click OK to continue.
  15. When the message appears indicating that the installation is complete, click Finish to exit the installation.
  16. Remove the disc and launch and use the program.

When i connect my wd 500 gb external hard disk to my pc windows notifies me with an error reporting "problem occurred during hardware installation.your new hardware might not work...

  1. Restart the computer in Safe Mode.
  2. Rename the Driver.cab file that is in the following folder:
    C:\Windows\Driver cache\i386
    For example, rename the Driver.cab file as
    Driver.old.
  3. Insert the Windows XP CD-ROM into the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.
  4. When the Welcome screen appears, click
    Perform additional tasks.
  5. Click Browse this CD, and then double-click the I386 folder.
  6. Click the Driver.cab file, and then on the
    Edit menu, click Copy.
  7. In Windows Explorer, open the following folder: C:\Windows\Driver cache\I386
  8. On the Edit menu, click
    Paste to paste the Driver.cab file in the C:\Windows\Driver cache\I386 folder.
  9. Remove the device that you tried to install.

    For example, if you received the error when you tried to install a printer, follow these steps to remove the printer:
    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Printers and Other Hardware.
    2. Click Printers and Faxes (or the icon representing the type of device that you want to remove).

The status of the drive shows "device working properly". But whenever I insert a CD and press Play, a message saying "Please Insert a Disk" appears on the screen. Please help me out...

clean the lens, try another CD.
If neither of these work, the laser is likely gone, and you'll have to replace the drive.
Oh, lens cleaning...GENTLY wipe with a q tip with rubbing alcohol on it.

Brand new computer and i did not install the adobe it came with the computer Vista basic and i get the 1311 error message when i try to run adobe computer 1 day old !

When you try to install Adobe Acrobat 6, 7, 8, or 3D on Windows, the installer returns the error message "Error [1311, 1335 or 2350]. Source file not found: [drive name]:\ Adobe Acrobat [version]\data1.cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it." If you click Retry, the installer returns the error message "Cannot find the file Adobe Acrobat [version]\data1.cab."
Solution Perform one or more of the following solutions:
Solution 1: Check the Acrobat CD-ROM.

Make sure that the CD-ROM from which you are installing is free of dirt and debris. If necessary, clean the CD-ROM with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Solution 2: Temporarily disable anti-virus software, and then install Acrobat.

For instructions, see the documentation for the anti-virus software or contact the manufacturer.
Solution 3: Extract the compressed installation files, and then install Acrobat.

  1. Right-click the folder and choose Extract All.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. To install Acrobat, double-click the Setup.exe file located in the folder that contains the extracted files.

Trying to help my sister to install her ginius webcam, but it is not working. She installed the software driver but can't get cam to work. Anyone out there with same problem that could give us a hint will...

1. Please install the driver first and then connect VideoCAM Trek to the USB port.

2. Installing the VideoCAM Trek driver
Windows Environment
a. Insert the VideoCAM Trek Installation CD into the CD-ROM drive.
b. The Autorun screen will bring up the installation screen. Click on
Driver” then simply follow the on-screen instructions.
c. Install DirectX from the CD.
Notice: If the Autorun screen doesn’t start, please follow these
steps:
�� Click on “Start Menu”
�� Type D��\SETUP.EXE , then click Enter key.
(Assume your CD-ROM is in Drive D)
Mac Environment
a. Insert the VideoCAM Trek Installation CD into the CD-ROM
drive.
b. Double click on the CD-ROM driveglish
c. Click on the file folder of “VideoCAm Trek Driver OSX 1.0
d. Click on “VideoCAM Trek Driver Install” then simply
follow the on-screen instructions.

3. Insert the VideoCAM Trek’s USB cable to your desktop’s or
laptop’s USB port.

4. Complete software and hardware installation. You can
install the software you would like to use for video
conferencing or chat with your friends.

from the desktop,click start programs lexmark 4300 series uninstall. follow the instructions on screen to remove the printer software.restart the computer.click cancel on any add new hardware screens insert the installation cd
IF the software installation screen does not appear. from the desktop double click my computer in windows xp click start to access the MY Computer icon.Double click the cd rom drive icon. If nessessary,double click SETUP ExE .when the software installation screen appears, click install or install now Follow the instructions on the computer screen to complete the installation.

I cannot instal the olevia manual ( disc )

insert the cd rom or dvd rom into the its drive, click run then browse, choose the cd rom drive or the dvd rom drive as the case may be and click on setup and press the enter key on the keyboard; a wizard will appear on the monitor to guide you through, follow its guidance and sure you will install it.
