Put on a pair of plastic gloves and smear a thick layer of Armour Etch etching compound on your sunglass lenses---the tops and the bottoms of the lenses. The toothpaste will act as a filler and fill in the gap created by the scratch. Continue applying a circular motion for 10 seconds and rinse with lukewarm water. If the scratch is deep or stubborn, you might have to repeat the process.

Use vehicle wax. The lipids in the wax will fill in the scratches. Apply a small amount of vehicle wax onto the cotton cloth. Apply the cotton cloth into the offensive scratch. Keep using a circular motion until the scratch is removed. You may need to use several cloths, as the wax can adhere to the fabric, subsequently marring its performance.
