have you tried reinstalling the game? if not, do so. Also check if your video card can support a high ressolution game like nba 2k11. If you can go to your video option setting try to lower your standard video setting to the lowest possible.
You can play without being logged in to the PlayStation network. I had the same problem but I don't know how to fix it completely because when I log in it freezes.
It has become corrupted because you or someone else has removed the hard drive whilst the machine was on, or when saving the data it saved it to a corrupted part of the hard drive
I have the same problem when I am playing in the My Player section. I also tried to reset and even turned the power totally off by unplugging it for nearly 30 minutes and that didn't work either. I hope that there is a solution because I do like playing the game.
delete nba 2k11's latest patch. I believe its version 1.30. You wont have to delete all your data, just the latest version of the game software. You will have to redownload it. This is what worked for me. Hope it helps.
