My HP PSC 1410 printer giving error E and Check Cartridge red light blinking. I have replaced black cartridge with new one but same error. HP Print Diagnostic Utility shows it as Pen Failure. What does it mean? Is there any way that I can find out whether color cartridge is faulty & replacing it will solve the issue?

It appears that it has carriage stall problem. Please speak to tech support, so that if it is a hardware issue, and if the printer is in wty, then it could be replaced .

HP printer PSC 1410 ALL in one printer showing "Check print cartridge" error

This eror usually mean that the printer cartridge has not been installed correctly. Try re-installing the cartridge. This error can also be generated by a logic fault within the printer.. if this is the case, replace the printer.. trying another new cartridge can be expensive so try and get a second hand cartridge, maybe from a friend and try that one.. Otherwise, replace the printer..

Hp psc 1410 printer error message

I fixed the problem I was having by re-installing the program, which then told me exactly what the problem was. It was the color cartridge.
I then put a new cartridge in and it worked!

Hp psc 1410 all-in-one printer not printing

What is not working? The printer or the cartridge? If it's the cartridge, try this. fold a paper towel in 4ths, dampen it and place on a flat surface. Blot the cartridge several times on the towel. You should get blots of black with the black cart. and three colors with the color or photo cart. If not... replace. If the printer carriage just won't move and you're shure you have power.. time for a new printer.
