I have a 6 y.o. whirlpool fridge wbm 46 model that's started to make a loud buzzing/whirring noise every 15 minutes or so ( only lasts a few seconds each time). It's started doing that noise in the last couple of weeks. And today all of a sudden, all the alarms above the door fridge started blinking and beeping, even the 'door open' alarm even though the door was perfectly closed. I had to use the 'alarm off' button to stop the beeping but the 'door open' alarm is still blinking. Thanks for your help.

HELP! Frigidaire Fridge FRS26HF7BB0 losing coldness and buzzing

That noise is typical when the compresor is trying to start but it doesn't , it could be the condensing fan motor that doesn't work and the compresor goes off on overload ; a common problem with this compresors is the relay (mounted at the side of the compresor behind a black plastic cover) goes bad , this you can replace is about $20 , and if still the compresor won't start you will need to put another one and this is an expensive job.

Amana Mod # ABB2223DEB Refrigerator

Try damper part number W10167268 from Whirlpool. They re-engineered the part, it's works different. Whirlpool issued a bulletin to servicers, but won't cover it under warranty (I have tried for many customers) "A bulletin is NOT a recall"
