Q: What operating systems are CODi's accessories compatible with?
A: CODi's accessories are typically plug and play and are compatible with most operating systems, including Windows 2000, XP and Vista; Mac OS 10.x and Linux 4.0 Kernel and above. If your operating system is not listed above, please call customer service at 1-800-CODIINC or email our customer service team at [email protected].

I suspected this to be the case, but the mouse should be plug and play supported. Most operating systems have the proper drivers included and your computer should recognize it. If it doesn't, contact their customer service.

Good Luck,
Mark

Ps2 port doesn't recognize Microsoft Optical mouse

You might think about a USB hub for all your USB devices. ps2 port is more or less dedicated for mouse, which is why your mouse pointer is stuck in the middle of the screen. Go ahead and get an externally powered USB Hub to power other USB devices. To answer, ps2 for mouse needs just a mouse, not USB device.

Missing mouse driver

You should be able to download the driver from the support section of your mouse manufacturers website. Hope this helps.

USB mouse not recognized

I have similar problem. 2 inland KVM's (both have PS2 inputs, one has USB outputs) do not light or recognize my usb mouse with a PS2 adapter. They do recognize a PS2 ball mouse on the KVM's however. One of the computers (Sony vaio 1.5 GHz) does recognize a usb mouse with adapter on 2 other KVM's (Old Belkin and a Trendnet) (the second computer I have not tried in those configurations). Next I will try an optical mouse with a PS2 fitting. That did work with a fifth KVM at an auto business last week.

Cursor sliding off screen

I?ve had this problem in several Logitech mice. In every one of my cases the problem was resolved by uninstalling the driver and reinstalling the latest OR just using the default Windows driver. In some cases with USB mice I had to shut down the PC, remove the original mouse and replace with a standard PS2 mouse, remove and reinstall the driver and then reattach the USB mouse without rebooting. After a successful test you can shutdown the PC and remove the PS2 mouse. Let us know if that works and if you have any other questions and thanks in advance for rating this post.
