What kind of oil does a husky 3000psi pressure washer use?

I don't believe that Husky (Home Depot) makes any 3000psi pressure washer that operates with a 2 Cycle motor. So.... gas only in the gas tank. Husky pumps can be from several differant manufacturers... some use no oil, some are sealed and don't recommend any attempt at oil changes, and some use Non-detergent 30w oil and some use 20-50 Full Synthetic oil. You can look up your specific model specifcations with a google search for Husky pressure washer.

Husky 2600 pressure washer with honda gcv160 engine. engine won't run with choke off.

I bought mine at Home Depot, the pump failed after about 8 hours of use then Home Depot agreed to replace it now it failed again after aabout 10 hours of use. This is a piece of crap and Home Depot should be ashamed for selling this junk. I am sure they are in with Husky and making big dollars on a crappy product. My machine is like brand new just will not work. Now the carb has to be replaced only after less than 20 hours.

When I'm spraying the finish (nitrocellulose lacquer) the spray is more like a lot of droplets than a good, even spray. The the finish dries pretty rough, like orange peel.

First make sure that the air flow is not restricted. If air flow is good and the droplets are still too big and not leveling out then you need to thin the lacquer a little. Thin with lacquer thinner a little at a time til you can achieve a fine spray. If the ambient temperture where you are spraying is high then a little lacquer retarder might be necessary. A retarder slows the drying process giving more time for the lacquer to level out.

What is the mix ratio for the Husqvarna 460 x-torq

I gallon of premium fuel to 2.6 ounces of quality 2-cycle oil is 50:1 and what Husqvarna says in the manual. You can download a current OM here:
HusqvarnaUSA.com
http://www.husqvarna.com/us/homeowner/support/download-manuals/
Enter the 3 digit model number (no XPs, Es, just the numbers)
Serial number decode – useful when downloading IPLs and Manuals
06 1500198
06 = year produced – 2006 (single digit before 2000; black numbers on silver tag 90s; silver numbers on black tag 80s)
15 = week produced - March
00198 = 198th unit Husky produced that week

How do you like the your 460? I almost bought 1 myself (opted for 359). More questions or if you need more help please reply below. HTH

HOME DEPOT GENERATOR HUSKY 5000 NEED PARTS LOCATED FOR GENERATO

bring the entire thing back... ask to speak with the manager and demand a brand new unit... (husky is exclusive to home depot..fyi)

if they give you push back ask for the district managers phone number (they have to provide or they can be fired) but they will replace it before he gets envolved..

if that fails try posting this in the correct category (this is motorcycles)

Gas problem

If it's a Ryobi it is 40:1. If you go to the store, you can buy small bottles that will give that mix if the entire bottle is put into 1 gallon of gas. Ryobi bottles are pretty easy to find. Home depot carries them.
