This could be an issue from remanufacturing. Try a new cartridge from HP.

Search internet for someone who is junking a 2110. Amazon, E-Bay etc. HP cannot / won't help you. You can try "360 Technologies" in Austin Texas. They do refurbishments on the PSC2110.
