Re: The juice screen has become blocked with "veggies"
You can brush it with a new tooth brush, or soak it in vinegar for a couple of hours. After getting rid of the old residue, you need to rinse it off right after juicing the next times. Best types of juicers

clean the basket-filter-screening of your Singer Juice Giant Model 774:
First, unplug the juicer from the power source and disassemble it.
Remove the pulp container and the juice jug.
Locate the basket-filter-screening and gently twist it counterclockwise to remove it from the juicer.
Rinse the basket-filter-screening under running water to remove any pulp or debris.
Use a soft-bristled brush to scrub away any remaining residue.
Rinse the basket-filter-screening again and dry it with a clean towel.
Reassemble the juicer.
If you need more detailed instructions, you can refer to the manual for your product
Let it spin for a 2 or three minutes after juicing. You can also, slowly, pour a little water down the chute to leach out more juice and dilute it as well. Also hold the basket up to the light to see if some of the holes have become clogged and use a tooth brush to clear them. If you're using the filters, just rely on the basket alone, it's not that hard to clean.
FIRST DUMP THE FILTERS, THEY DECREASE YIELD AND MAY CAUSE MORE VIBRATION. IF JUICER SHUTS DOWN PUSH RESET BUTTON ON BOTTOM. THIS TYPE OF JUICER DOES NOT EJECT PULP AND REQUIRES SOME TIME TO MASTER. FEED THE STUFF SLOW AND STEADY. WANT A GOOD JUICE? TRY 1 APPLE, 2 CARROTS, 2 CELERY AND A HALF LEMON. IF YOU ARE REALLY BRAVE YOU CAN FINISH OFF BY SLOWLY POURING 6 OR 8 OUNCERS OF WATER RIGHT DOWN THE CHUTE. THIS NOT ONLY DILUTES BUT LEECHES MORE JUICE OUT OF THE PULP. JUICE SHOULD BE DILUTED AND DRANK SLOWLY.
usually the vibrations are caused by improper assembly ( it does not take much ) or the rate of feeding material into juicer. feed the juicer too fast and it gets out of balance.
Hi, I have an Omega juicer, and I've never had this happen. I recommend that you double check to see if you have the right parts attached. It comes with two inserts, one with a small metal screen on the bottom, the other has no screen, it is solid. The solid one is for crushing and proccessing food. The one with the screen is used for juicing. Make sure you have the correct one installed.
If that is not the problem, I think perhaps the grass is too dry? Maybe there isn't enough moisture in it to extract much. I really can't say, though. Try juicing something else, like carrots, and see if you can get some juice there.
If all else fails, contact Omega at their website. They have terrific customer service. I've tested it already with a warranty replacement.
