Hi, try pressing the remotes " display" button. Also you may have hit the " input " button on the remote. You also may try hitting the remotes " exit " or "return" button. one of those works hopefully, good luck, Prodzilla

Testimonial: "Yes your solution worked. The 'DISPLAY' button on the PROTRON remote control causes the data to be turned ON or OFF upon each click. I'm embarrassed"

My pc will not work with my 32" tv screen it says

Without knowing the brand / model of the TV, PC video card, or Windows Operating System, I can only offer a general suggestion of trying a different resolution of the display on the PC.

Right-click an black area on your desktop, and click on "Properties". Click on the Settings tab to display the options shown below:

10_5_2011_4_37_35_pm.jpg

Adjust the "Screen resolution" slide control in the "less" direction (in the red circle) and then attempt to send the screen to the TV again. Repeat as often as needed until a workable set of resolutions are found.

If unable to get a display, provide the info asked for above, and include the length of the VGA cable and any adapters used.

Good luck!

Proton pltv- 3250 32 "lcd tv a friend gave me

To turn on the TV:

Turning the Display On and Off

There is a power switch on the bottom of the display and a power button on top. The power switch is used to cut off power completely, whereas the power button turns the screen off but
allows the remote to continue working.
To turn the display on:
1. If the power light on the front of the display is off, turn on the power switch on the bottom of the display.
2. Press the POWER button.

To turn the display off:
1. Press the POWER button.
2. If the display will be unused for an extended period of time, turn off the power switch on the bottom of the display and disconnect the power.

Please make sure you rate my answer 4 thumbs up! Thanks so much for understanding, it would be a huge help to me. I would be forever grateful if you could do this for me. If you still have a question or concern about this problem please just respond / reply to my answer here before rating my answer.

I have just got a Toshiba 37AV502R flat screen tv. I want to connect the digital audio output (optical) to my older 5.1 speaker system. The input on the sub woofer is a 15 pin VGA... I can't seem to find a...

Is this sub a Bose. The only reason you would see a VGA type connector on a sub is if it is dedicated to somthing else such as Bose 3-2-1 system. This is not a standard VGA input and can only be connected the the dedicated head unit. I need more info on the sub. Brand and model. Ther should be an analog audio input on the sub. This will be sufficient.
