He may be following links that have been forwarded to him via email from someone’s Facebook account posts. If he doesn’t have an account it will most times allow him to view the post, video, pic etc, but only that and also have a pop up screen asking to join Facebook if you don’t have an account to view anything else.

Changing towers shouldn't cause a problem with logging onto Facebook (you can access FB from any computer in the world, remember). All you need to do is try and log on with one email account, and password, if this doesn't work, go via the "Forgotten your password?" link at the bottom of the new window. it will ask you for an email to send the reminder to, or ask if you want it re-set, and send it to the email address you've just tried.
IF the problem, is that you've forgotten your email account password (that you registered on FB with), and can't access it when FB send the FB PASSWORD, you need to create a new account on FB. (THEN, find your old account, search for friends, and then let them know your page has moved to your new one!)...
if your ISP denies you your FB, use a 3rd party proxy site like www.stayinvisible.com, www.megaproxy.com. try also www.webproxies.org for some more sites.
FB believes that your account has either been accessed from somewhere it doesn't think should have accessed it, or that someone tried. It is sometimes a real problem and sometimes it is caused by legitimate access to your account from a mobile device or another program that you have given FB access to.
Follow the steps suggested on the FB page, which will lead to them requiring you to change your password.
This is a massive problem across a few country's that Facebook has yet to acknowledge publicly. It's all over the forums. Somewhere starting in August users began to login and met this new roadblock denying them access if they do not supply a mobile number. Many users do not have a mobile number (it's not like it's required at signup) and now have no way of accessing their accounts. I'm one of them and it's been a week. What a travesty! FB is clearly too busy trying to extort us for our personal info and inflate their size (even it's made up of accounts like mine that I can't access) than to acknowledge and deal with such a massive problem.
there have been problems related to these types with hotmail and yahoo too.......... try opening from an another comp or a diifferent network!!!
if this doesnt work create a new account and transfer your mail and contancts to the new account..................try changing your passwd too>..
