You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program. i like you to try going to dell's website and try downloading the audio driver for your dell loptop here is dell's official website http://www.dell.com/ i know you dont have much experience in downloading well its just easy.

1st go to www.dell.com
2nd type the model of your dell loptop in the search box. (example: dell latitude d505 audio driver)
3rd if you have found the compatible audio driver for your loptop just download & install it...

and try your audio/sound& volume again.

It sounds like you're stuck at the BIOS password. The easiest way to get around this is to disassemble the casing of your laptop, and find the small battery connected to the motherboard - this battery powers the internal CMOS memory when the laptop is turned off, and removing and replacing it will clear the CMOS settings, and thus, clear the password. Upon booting up, you will need to re-enter your CMOS information before you are able to use your laptop.

Unfortunately there is no way to recover your login password, it is stored on the hard drive itself. If the drive itself is not encrypted but only password protected, you can bring the computer to Best Buy or any computer tech shop and they can back up the files on the drive for you and reinstall your operating system with a new login password.

your password is not stored in BIOS.
it is stored on a IC called EEPROM
and it is soldered to the motherboard.
it cant be reset at all with conventional
methods. but it can be done
with shortcut jumper.(not recommended )
if you dont have earlier experiense.
If you are the legit first owner call DELL
they will give you MASTER PASSWORD

But remember only if u are the first legit owner!
