Thanks, I actually figured it out last night... but I really appreciate your help.

The driver may already be in your computer, depending on your OS. On your windows desktop, left click the mouse on the Windows START button. Left click on CONTROL PANEL. Look for the PRINTERS icon and left click on it. When the PRINTERS window opens up, left click on ADD A PRINTER. Windows should automatically detect your printer if it is plugged into a USB port. Left click on NEXT. On the CHOOSE A PORT window left click on USE AN EXISTING PORT. On the drop down menu, choose , one of the USB virtual printer ports., and left click on it. Left click NEXT, which opens the INSTALL THE PRINTER DRIVER window. In the left box, scroll to CANON. In the right box, find your model pinter and left click on it. Left click NEXT, TYPE A PRINTER NAME APPEARS. Click NEXT,and the driver will be installed. Click NEXT and enable or disable printer sharing. Click NEXT, AND THE INSTALL IS FINISHED. print a test page .If it prints ok, go back to the PRINTERS screen. RIGHT CLICK ON YOUR PRINTER ICON, AND USE THE DROP DOWN MENU TO SET YOUR PRINTING PREFERENCES AND PROPERTIES.
