The chipset is one of the components of the motherboard that works the the "procrssor" and other components to achive a fast and efficient working system. The "software" is developed by the manufacturer to provide the info needed to interrelate with the other components and with your particular operating system. If you need to "update" your chipset software you can do that here:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/
I will outline how to get your update:
1 Select product family-Click on "Chipset"
2 Select product line-Click on "Desktop chipset
3 Select Product Name-Scroll down to "Intel 845 Series" and select.
You will now enter a new window where you will select your operating system
4 Select an operating system-scroll and pick you o/s.
Once you pick your system. Scroll down to your download and click on it.
The other components of your board may also require periodic updates. The best palce to get those updates is here;
http://support.asus.com/Download/Options.aspx?SLanguage=en&type=1

First you need to download the latest version of the chipset software from Asus. Visit the following link and choose your operating system:
http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=P4B266&p=1&s=15

Under the "BIOS" dropdown, you will find a download labeled:
"Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility V5.02.1003."

Click on the "Global" link to save the file to your computer.

After it is finished downloading, open the file you downloaded, inside there will be a folder named "inf". Go inside this folder and run the "infins_autol.exe" file by double clicking. From there you can follow the installation wizard.

I got win7 installed on my desktop computer ( mother board msi k8mm-v V1.3) when i want to play games it gives me error message "windows media accelerator"

You need to install all the mainboard/chipset/graphic card drivers.
For the mainboard/chipset drivers, please check
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/K8MM-V.html#/?div=Driver

MSI is not prividing the Win7 drivers yet, but you can use the Vista drivers. Select the Vista version (32 bit or 64 bit) to be the same as yout Win7 type (32 or 64 bit)

Need to remove engine. I have a lift, is it best to remove from the bottom. Please briefly discribe.

Removing an engine can be EXTREMELY hazardous and should not be attempted without good knowledge of automotive repair procedures, I am afraid that (based on the way you asked your question) you run a high risk of seriously harming yourself. Good repair manuals can be found for most cars which will usually describe the procedure in detail.

Missing drivers for compaq presario v2000 machine

SOLUTION!!!

**Even though your computer may SAY that it is a Presario V2000, it may have an entirely different product number for downloading drivers specific to your particular configuration.**

1) Look at the serial code on the back/bottom of your computer: there is a number starting with p/n (ex. p/nEX664UA#APL) This code identifies your computer beyond the V2000 label.

2) Go to the compaq/hp website: http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/welcome.html#Support

3) select "Download Drivers and software(and firmware)"

4) THEN, enter your P/N Instead of "Presario V2000" into the product name/number box, and hit enter.

Select your operating system, and you will be redirected to a page listing all the necessary drivers for your model.

On the left of your screen, you will see a box that says "your product" with a picture of a laptop, and a model number beneath it. THIS IS YOUR ACTUAL MODEL NUMBER (Mine was Compaq Presario V2610CA Notebook PC).

5) Download and install the drivers you need, and gappy geeking!!!
