Dear Have u got ur GPRS or EDGE service activated from AIRTEL. Pls confirm it, if yes then following are the settings for airtel.
go to
>>START>>SETTINGS>>CONNECTIONS
connections>>Add a new Modem connection
>>Enter name-airtel or Mobile office
>>select a modem>>it should be Cellularline (GPRS)
>>NEXT
>>eNTER THE NAME AS IT SHOULD BE DIALED
>>enter airtelgprs.com (all small caps)
>>NEXT
>>FINISH
NOW again go to START>>SETTINGS>>CONNECTIONS>>connection>> Advanced>> select networks
There will be two options
1-prog that automatically connect to the internet
2-prog that automatically connect to a private network

there is a utility called i-mate configurator. Simply tap it , it will automatically detect the SIM card and if GPRS service is enabled on that SIM, it will configure it that too.
