It appears to be a bad panel. The cost of a new panel exceeds the cost of a replacement TV with the same specifications. If you have a warranty, use it before it expires. If it is out of warranty, I recommend that you complain to Toshiba that this is a common problem and ask for factory warranty consideration. Good luck.

If you can post a picture of what the lines are I can assist with the possible causes. I would assume digital board or DMD/ light engine
But a pic would help make it easier to figure out whats going on with the set.Respond to this same post for assistance.

You are probably seeing what looks like Jail Bars (Vertical Lines evenly spaced) on the screen. If so,then the DMD chip on the DMD board is bad and needs to be replaced
