SOURCE: How to reset the mp3 player when it freezes::::
My problem was that my player wouldn't turn ON, even after I charged it for more than an hour. I held the power button down for 15-20 seconds, let go, and then I just touched it on, and it came on. Thanks for giving me the idea! Mike M., SLC
SOURCE: RCA Mp3 M4208GR-B is entirely unresponsive
This Mp3 player is ridiculous! My husband and I each have one (purchased Dec 08) and by Aug 09 his froze never to turn on again. I thought maybe he got a lemon because mine was still just fine. As of Dec 09 mine is unresponsive as well. Pretty junky piece of equipment if you ask me. Sure it was only $50 some odd bucks at Walmart, but I would expect it to last much longer than a year - especially because I had barely even used mine. Ridiculous. My best suggestion... buy a different brand. Junky ole RCA needs to retire.
