SOURCE: my GPX won't let me take songs off it?
the easiest way to load and unload songs off of it is to go to my computer and look for it in the drives. It should have it own drive letter. When you open it you will see one folder on the drive. Open the folder and there is your music. Now just cut out what you dont want. Or if you want to add other ones just drag and drop them in there.
SOURCE: delete music from mp3 player
I have the GPX MW3837.
for deleting the music from the player, go the the windows Media Player. Click Library.
Far Left will be your GPX audio player.
Click that.
Then click the CLICK HERE that is highlighted.
Click Songs.
and delete from the list there.
I had the same problem. Finally figured it out after looking around in the medial player for awhile.
Hope this helps.
SOURCE: CAN'T DELETE EXISTING MUSIC FILES TO CREATE ROOM FOR NEW MUSIC FILES
Ouch! The solution I just found DID reformat and it DID clear off the files that I could not erase. But it took away the version info, so now the updater (http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downloads/firmware/e200fw01.00.12.exe) does not work and while the files I could not erase are gone and the 250e is nice and clean, will I need the updater in the future and be unable to use it?

SOURCE: CAN'T DELETE MY MUSIC
After I connect my gpx mw3847 I open My Computer and find my player (mine is GPX (F:), The F is the drive letter, yours mgiht be different. When I open it there is a "Music" folder. I open it and all songs show up. I right click on a song and the drop down menu has a "delete" item. clicking on that item deletes songs for me.
