SOURCE: Remove bottom front panel AEG 6081

before you take the pump out, if drain hose goes into a spigot on the sink trap, take drain hose off and check hose and spigot are not blocked. this is very common.
can't remember anything special about the screws - used to be philips head but may have changed to multi-spline.the top ones are indeed obscured by the door panel but you can normally get to them with a stubby screwdriver or take the outer door panel off - just a few screws

Our AEG dishie also tripped the light regularly. Turned out there was a water leak by the motors and the cut off device wasn't working and when the water filled up too much it tripped. Move the dishie and if water 'sloshes' out the back, then you know the problem, or if not, take the side panels off so you can see underneath, if there is water at the bottom of the machine. Hope you find the problem.

SOURCE: what is the most usual reason for leakge on the AEG 6050?

The outlet pump is triggered by the anti flood micro switch via the polystyreene float on the base of the washer. If any water for whatever reason (leaky pipe)is on the floor the machiene automatically switches to pump out mode and only works once the water and the cause is rectified..

SOURCE: Favorit 43070 vi leak

I assume that this leak is from the flat tank on the side of the machiene. Any water leak to the bottom of the machiene puts the washer in ANTI FLOOD mode with the pump out motor activated. You can remove the flat tank by disconnecting the hoses to it and pulling it upwards. If you find a small leak just run it over with a hot soldering iron to melt closed the small leak. Also note that this tank has a small outlet pipe that deliberatly discharges water to the anti flood device (polystireen float / micro switch at the base of washer) in case of a fault (blocked pipe / leak etc).

Hello, I have an AEG front load washing machine. It appears to be leaking water during the spin cycle as it is dripping off the bottom bolt that secures the 2 halves of the tub. Additionally on one side...

The drying cycle uses a very small flow of water all the time it's drying. When it's washing it uses a large flow of water initially and for each rinse.
If the problem's only when when drying then the one pipe it's using only for drying may be leaking. It feeds a plastic condensor bottle on the right side seen from the front. Hot air is blown upwards through the condensor and a leak can let water vapour condense on the inside of the case in that area.

The drain pump on the AEG oko favorit 6050 keeps running even when the on/off switch is off or the door is open.

Empty all the water from the salt resevoir, (I used a turkey baster), then rock the machine backwards and forwards a few times and empty the last few drops from the resevoir again.

Have an Aeg oko 4020 dishwasher. Installed a new pump and it worked for awhile. It now won't switch off but the cycles do not run. Someone suggested there maybe water in some area that has caused some sort...

it probably has water in the bottom tray
take bottom front panel off and this exposes the bottom tray
mop out water and machine will run
if fault reoccure then you have a leak

Drain pump keeps running AEG oko favorit

This seems like the anti flood system (polystireen float / micro switch) at the base of the washer is triggered,\. This puts the washer in pump out mode and stops inlet of water via the inlet solinoid. Dry the water on the base and then check for any water leaks. (pipe leak

Water not pumping out and therefore no spinning occurs

Hi, just solved the same problem with our aeg lavamat w 1020. Try checking the filter tray (or port) at the bottom left-hand corner of your machine. This was our problem and as soon as the blockage was removed the machine could be pumped out. It appears to be running OK now.

AEG Washer dryer will not complete cycle

I ended up trying the machine on a few different cycles all of which failed to complete. Finally tried a 'Drying' only cycle and it emptied out quite alot of water which was odd. It now seems fine. guessing it was a blockage and a certain amount of water was backed up in the machine??? any clarity welcome.
