    Same problem as above. Samsung says to contact Microsoft but that it's probably something to do with their driver and they will not update until they receive MANY reports of this issue.

    If your having this issue PLEASE call Samsung and raise hell!!!

    I am getting the SPL- ERROR - Including Corrupted Data message now. I can print a simple word doc, but not colour or anything more interesting than that.

    What has me annoyed is that the printer worked fine for the first week, but now is giving this trouble . .

I should have updated this a while ago, as I see others have had the same problem since my post on 27 August.

After calling Samsung technician out to take a look, he suggested getting a higher quality cable (conected to the computer). Despite the fact that the cable which we'd been using for months always seemed to work ok, we got another one of higher quality, and the printer now works fine.

I don't know why the cable stopped working efficiently, but it did.

I fixed this problem by updating the firmware from the Samsung website. I guess the firmware was corrupted.

Resolution: To resolve this issue, replace the Iepeers.dll file. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Restart the computer in MS-DOS mode or with a startup disk.
a. For Windows 98 and Windows 95 , click Start, click Shut Down, click Restart the computer in MS-DOS mode, and then click Yes.
b. For Windows Millennium Edition (Me), use a Windows Me startup disk and click Start Computer without CD-ROM Support.

Try disconnecting your printer from your pc and then uninstalling the drivers for it in your control panel. Go to the manufacturers website (Samsung) and click on the drivers and sofware area to download a new copy of the files necessary to run it.

After installing, reconnect your printer to your pc and try printing a test page to see if this has corrected the error.

It's a printer Main Board Problem, maybe you can try to make a FW Update.
When the problem is still their after the FW Update you have to call the service.

Printer HP Laser Jet 7400
A critical firmware error has occurred that caused the processor on the formatter to abort the operation.

This type of error can be caused by invalid print commands, corrupt data, or invalid operations.

In some instances, electrical noise in the cable can corrupt data during transmission to the printer.

Other causes include poor quality parallel cables, poor connections, or specific software programs.

99 % of time it is a corrupt file or poor connection, I have also known it to be the firmware, dimm or formatter board on rare occasions.

Recommend check hp web for any firmware updates, check connections and that driver is installed impecablly and use known good files to test.
