Thats caused by failed caps on the DM and power boards. You can get the V26 chassis DM/Power repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com which also contains the instructions.
The lamp light would be solid red if the lamp were out. The steady blinking green led is usually caused by failed capacitors on the DM board. You can get the V26 dm repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com which should repair that issue. The kit contains the capacitors and the CD with detailed instructions.
Probley should check the DM board for bad capastors. DM board is inside of a metal case should be on left side of tv when looking from rear capastors should be marked 16v 1000 uF on them should be 4 of them about 1 inch tall green or black or blue or brown maybe even yellow in color if bulage on top then then thay are bad if not still could be bad common problem need to check may or may not be your problem does couse the power light to blink non stop.
continuous blinking green light indicates that the capacitors have failed on the DM pwb. You need the V26 DLP DM repair kit which is available at the following link under their repair category. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
If you only changed 4 caps,1000 ucfd 35v, it should be 5, if you did not remove the little plug in board, e prom, you may have damaged that. B-4/after changing caps what is the indicator light, green, doing?

The DM board is the one with the digital connectors on the back panel. If you already have it appart, you may as well check the caps on all of the boards. The caps that go bad are typically Jamicon brand caps in 1000 uF and 330 uF values. There are also a couple of 3300 uF caps in the PS that cause problems.
the PWB , FMT and DM boards all have capacitor issuses with that chassis. If the power light is blinking there are 4 1000uf capacitors on the DM that need replacing. If you need more info let me know.
Change the 1000uf capacitors on the DM board. Its easy but getting the chassis out is a job. The service manual will make it easier and will correctly identify the DM board and where its located. Heres where you can get the manual and free tech support. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
This part will cost you about 650 to 800 bucks my friend. if you have any soldering skills, and can follow directions, I posted a DM board fix. it may just be four small capacitors. Now this set that was used in the fix is not exactly like all the other Mitsubishi TV sets that still have a DM board, but if you can locate the DM board, follow the rest of the repair. if you do not know how to solder, do not take a chance, as this part is way too expensive to be experimenting around with. Get the Capcitors(there is a link there too for the capacitors)and take the DM board to a service shop, as this should not cost you a lot to have a pro do this for you. The DM board fix is located here:
