Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out in the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

First of all the print head is clogged just because you have tried to print repeatedly while some of the cartridges are empty. This results ink burn in the nozzle and clog. My recipe: Heat some drinking water in the kettle (70-80 C). Put the head in it and shake gently several times until ink is completely clean (10 minutes). Change the water do the same again. Change the water again (70-80 C) this time put a spoon full of apple vinegar (becomes a natural acidic solution very dilute) shake again, clean with cotton stick. I did it and started to love my mp800 again as much as I just bought it, all colours come back and started to print superior photos again......

When i print something it comes out blue, how do I change it to black

hi wayne

Make a cleaning cartridge, it may solve your problem, but many cases need to do some manual for a good cleaning, this happens when you leave the printer unused long time.

Here is how can clean the head by the Epson software
How to deep clean print heads in your Epson printer en Rellenado

If this does not solve your problem, you must do a manual cleanup, you need some instruments, it is certain that will solve your problem.

things like:
1. 60 ml of ascetic acid.
2. 60 ml of isopropyl alcohol.
3. 10 ml of glycerine.

and fallow the steps

My black ink is patchy, even after deep cleaning

Hi There

Summary

Usage of compatible ink and leave the printer idle too long may cause printhead clogging
What should you do if you get this problem. Relax; you may recover the printhead by unclogging it. Follow these steps to unclog the printhead

1. Right click in the printer driver name
2. Select Properties menu
3. Click Maintenance tab
4. Click on cleaning sign for regular cleaning. Perform this up to 3 times.
5. If this does not work, perform Deep Cleaning

And if that not work

Some times it needs a good clean up but this is up to you if you want to do this,
But after you done this prime the printer so it gets the inks back in the heads, it may take a little time for the inks to work.

Ok.

There is fluid cleaner for this but I can never find any in the shops the only ones I seen is when they sell them in Tesco but they come in with the ink refill bottles so I just use worm water by it self on a cloth and dabbing on the heads to clean them, it will not harm the heads but not to much water.

Some heads are on the inks them self but some have them inside the printer so I not know your printer so if the heads are inside you need to get them out you may find that some heads will just clip out put some need to be unscrewed so you got to know how they come out so be careful and not push to hard on them, if the heads are on the ink then it is a easy job to clean them,
It worth a try it worked for me more than ones.

Please all I ask is call back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one, so I will keep on helping.

Can't unclog black 3eBK nozzle.

If you said you replaced cartridges with new ones and it still doesn't work, the printer is the issue and may need to be replaced.

Nozzle for large (#5) ink is clogged and repeated deep cleaning does not unclog. How can I get the nozzle clean? I'm not sure how to reach the nozzle... Thought I could maybe wipe it off with alcohol. Any...

Remove the cartridge. Take a paper towel and dampen it. Place the towel in the microwave and get it really hot. Draw the cartridge head over it 7 to 10 times until ink starts to flow. Now, take a dry paper towel and draw the head over it the same amount of times to make sure it is dry.

Hi, our black 3ebk will not print. we have deep

Check if there is a tape over the top vent intended to let air into the ink tank and so ink can flow out to the writing head.

3eBk will not print. Canon MP780

Replacing the printhead may work, but it could be a problem with the cleaning assembly. Take out the 3ebk and run a cleaning, if the ink goes away on the pad where the ink cart. goes, then clean assy. is OK, and you need a new printhead.

My Canon S750 Bubble Jet Printer does not print with black ink. It seems to print all other colors though.

Replace and install the black ink cartridge with this Black Ink Tank BCI-3eBK Ifyou have done this and is still missing the black ink on print, clean the print heads. 1. Right-click the printer icon, and then select 'Properties'.
2. Click the 'Maintenance' tab, and then click 'Deep Cleaning'. 3. Read the message displayed, and then click 'OK'. The power lamp blinks and print head deep cleaning starts. (Do not perform any other operations until print head deep cleaning is complete. Print head deep cleaning takes about 1 minute.)

That should most likely work. If deep cleaning did not help, you may need to replace the print head.

I am having problems getting my Printer to print text. It prints graphics just fine but it will not print text at all. I have tried cleaning and deep cleaning the Black 3eBK nozzle but this has not...

It's a print-head problem, the black nozzles are clogged out... sorry there is no remedy for this kind of problem..

But, try to ****-in air out from the print head's by using a syringe,
moz-screenshot.jpgno needle, on to the black ink tube, not the actual picture but I hope you got the idea. Then try cleaning again and a print test, keep doing this several times, but it would waste a lot of ink.

Hope this helps.
