Printer continues to give paper jam warning when there is no paper present.
This happened to me after I had cleared a paper jam. I finally had to take off the back and cover to discover that there was, indeed, a small piece of paper invisible otherwise (torn off of the paper I removed). I removed the piece with tweezers and now it's working fine. Remove all other moveable parts inside. The top front is held on with two plastic posts + screws, the back by four deep-set Phillips screws. Might work best to remove back screws, then front, then top. The top feels fixed, but it snaps out (sounds loud!) with some pressure, and snaps back in on reverse. Harder to replace than take off.. Be sure the light color on the top on either side of the fuser opening slides under the darker color part of the back (about an inch?) before snapping or screwing it all back. Good luck!
